Glenn Sparks of Youth Unlimited was our special guest tonight. He explained the history of Youth Unlimited, their various programs, such as Young & Pregnant Niagara, Youth Open Door activities, weekly Girls Only activities, sports, food, meal and clothing programs.
Youth Unlimited is located at 226 Merritt St, which is a former food processing plant and warehouse that has been converted to offices and various meeting and activity rooms.
We presented Glenn with two cheques. One was from the Thorold Lions from the 50/50 draw held at the Thorold Downtown Car Show for $415, and the other was a $250 cheque from Brian H., the winner of the said draw. Glenn thanked the Thorold Lions and was appreciative of our partnership.
