On March 27, the Thorold Lions Club got dirty!
Over the course of an hour, we put together dozens of awesome little nut tree kits to be handed out at the A-2 District Lions Convention that weekend. Each kit contained a pot, soil and a nut seed held inside a plastic bag, with instructions on how to plant and nurture the seedling. This is one of our club’s environment projects.
We’re pleased to say that the response to our nut tree kits at the convention was very positive. We distributed all the kits and are now eagerly awaiting to see the results.
